World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is looking for a consultant to support the development and initial rollout of an advocacy capacity-building and strategy development toolkit. Successful use of this toolkit will result in a common understanding of advocacy within national WWF entities and development of advocacy strategies at team and organizational levels. This toolkit will be designed for use specifically in less-developed country contexts and/or implemented by offices with low capacity/minimal advocacy resource.
Background of assignment
Advocacy, taking action to create change, is critical to achieving WWF’s mission of sustaining the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife. As an independent conservation organization active in nearly 100 countries, advocacy capacities and strategies can be very different between WWF entities. Recognising this, we are seeking to specifically support WWF entities in less-developed/low-capacity countries build their advocacy capacity, and to develop advocacy approaches and strategies that work for their unique contexts.

Expected Profile / Qualification and Expertise
Experience developing and delivering training/education content in less-developed country/low-capacity contexts is essential
Proficient English language skills are essential
Experience of delivering advocacy activities is an advantage
Digital application development experience is an advantage
Graphic design skills are an advantage
